DynamiCare Remote Management & Monitoring

"What is that “D” at the bottom of my screen?"

In order for our clients to know that their system is being managed and monitored, the DynamiCare Remote Management & Monitoring system shows a small icon in the system tray of your computer. The system tray is the small area in the bottom right of your desktop. An example is shown below.

There are a number of different tasks you can do with the DynamiCare Remote Management & Monitoring icon.

  1. You can create a service request
  2. You can find information about your system.
  3. You can capture a screenshot.

Lets go over how to do these tasks.

Creating a service request.

Right clicking on the DynamiCare Remote Management & Monitoring icon will bring up a context menu. In this menu highlight and click the "Create Service Ticket" option as shown below.

A new window will pop up. An example of this window is shown below.

Make sure that your email address is correct in the “From:” field. In the "Subject" line type in a Summary of the issue you are experiencing. Here are some examples

  1. Printing issues
  2. Cannot access network share
  3. Website is being blocked

In the body of the Service Ticket, type in as much information as you can about the issue. The more info you type in, the better prepared the Help Desk will be when working on your issue!

Right clicking on the DynamiCare Remote Management & Monitoring icon will bring up a context menu. In this menu highlight and click the "Create Service Ticket" option as shown below.

From within the new Service Ticket Window, you can choose Attach Screenshot to take a picture of your desktop. You can do this if you have a strange pop up, or an error that you would like the Help Desk Engineers to look into.

Finding information about your system.

Sometimes it is helpful to your Help Desk Engineer if you can give some information about your system, such as the computer name, or IP address. This is available to you from the DynamiCare Remote Management & Monitoring icon as well.

To access this information just right click on the DynamiCare Remote Management & Monitoring icon, highlight and click "System Information" like shown below.
